Nude Nocturne Embody January Gallery

The Nude Nocturne figurative fine art exhibition returns as Fort Myers' hottest celebration of the nude form. Featuring a stunning array of works by artists from across the nation, this month-long showcase is an immersive exploration of the human body as a vessel of identity, emotion, and transformation.

The exhibition opens with a public reception on January 10, 2025, from 5 to 7 pm at
the Alliance for the Arts (AFTA). Guests can enjoy light refreshments provided by
Jayne Baker while viewing captivating large-scale nude artworks in the Main Gallery.
Additional smaller works and figure drawings will be displayed in the Theatre and
Member Galleries, offering a diverse collection for attendees to experience and
purchase. The exhibition will be on display through the month of January.

The 2025 exhibition theme, Embody, delves into the profound connection between the
human body and the human experience. Artists were asked to submit up to five pieces
that interpret the body as a living expression of strength, grace, vulnerability, and
transformation. This exploration invites viewers to reimagine the dynamic nature of the
human form as both a canvas and a narrative.
